Chat with Muse
“A creative partner that knows your research better than you do.”
The Muse is the Writers Factory AI chat assistant. But unlike purely generic models (like standard ChatGPT or Claude), the Muse has access to your specific Two-Track Architecture.
How it Works (RAG)
The Muse uses RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
When you ask:
“How would a cybernetic modification clinic look in Neo-Prague?”
The Muse doesn’t just guess. It:
- Queries your Codex: Looks for “Neo-Prague”, “Cybernetics”, “clinics”, “medical technology”.
- Reads your Research: Pulls the specific paragraph from your “World Building” notebook about The Chrome Alley Ripper Doc.
- Generates an Answer: Combines that specific fact with general knowledge to give you a scene description.
Capabilities
1. Research Retrieval
Ask it about anything in your library.
- “What was that quote about the nature of time from the Physics notebook?”
- “List all the weapons I researched for the third act.”
2. Story Consulting
Ask it to apply research to your plot.
- “Given the magic system rules in my Codex, could the protagonist survive a fall from the High Tower?”
3. Scene Brainstorming
Ask it to set the mood.
- “Write a sensory description of the market using the textures from my ‘Bangkok Street Food’ research.”
Pro-Tip: The “@” Mention
(Coming Soon)
Eventually, you will be able to specifically tag components, like @Protagonist or @Theme, to force the Muse to focus on those constraints. For now, simply refer to them by name.
Privacy
The Muse runs on your local machine’s orchestration layer, but sends data to the cloud LLMs (Gemini, DeepSeek, etc.) for processing. We send only the relevant chunks of your research, not your entire library at once.
